Each score is computed independently and validated against actual purchase outcomes. Calibration is logged per quarter so the scores never drift unnoticed.
Buy propensity
A continuous 0-1 score indicating likelihood of purchase in the current session. Built from page-view depth, time-on-product-page, scroll behavior, search refinement, comparison adds, chat engagement, and demographic priors. Updated on every event.
Abandonment risk
A leading indicator that the visitor is about to leave without converting. Triggers proactive engagement (a soft chat prompt, a personalized offer, a recovery email). Calibrated to fire only when intervention has historically improved outcomes.
Predicted next purchase
For returning customers, the model predicts the next category they're likely to shop. Drives email targeting, in-chat recommendations, and inventory positioning. Validated against the customer's actual subsequent order via CDA enrichment.

Scores are not "trust us" black boxes. The calibration table is visible in the admin dashboard and updates as ground truth arrives.
Per-band accuracy
For each confidence band (claimed 50-70%, claimed 70-90%, claimed 90+%), the dashboard shows the actual accuracy measured against post-hoc order data. If a band is over-confident, source weights are adjusted automatically.
No black box
Every score has the contributing signals visible (browse depth, demographic priors, recent activity). Admins can audit why any specific visitor was scored a given way — and override if the rationale is wrong.
